Measuring 33-1/16″ × 33-1/16″ × 11-3/4″, this low-profile cassette fits standard ceiling grids and delivers four-way, customizable airflow patterns. Individual vane settings allow direct, indirect, or variable airflow configurations, ideal for comfort tuning in diverse room layouts. Airflow output ranges from 740 to 1,200 CFM, ensuring coverage for large, open environments.

Smart, Efficient Operation

Equipped with Mitsubishi’s 3D i-see Sensor®, the optional PLP-41EAEU panel scans the room to determine temperature distribution and occupant locations, automatically adjusting airflow and reducing energy consumption. The inverter-driven DC fan motor offers multiple speeds with quiet operation from 34–45 dB(A).

The PLA-AE48NL delivers powerful cooling with a rated capacity of 48,000 BTU/h and a maximum capacity of 49,000 BTU/h. A washable, easy-access filter comes standard, with an optional high-efficiency filter available when using the multi-function casement. The built-in condensate lift mechanism allows for vertical drainage up to 33-15/32″, reducing installation constraints. A filter-indicator signal alerts users when maintenance is required.

Supports a wide range of wired and wireless MA-series remote controllers, third-party thermostat interfaces, and the Comfort App via wireless adapters.
